Un journal bien cauchois

Cette semaine, un terrible drame s'est déroulé à Pavilly (Seine-Maritime).
Des blogueurs en ont rendu compte, sur Comme une 76 et Vivre en Normandie.
Le grand journal du Pays de Caux, j'ai nommé Le Courrier Cauchois (il a un site web, mais il n'est pas à jour), titre bien évidemment sur ce drame :
« L'effroyable geste d'une mère »
Et en plus, sur la une, il y a une photo, avec comme légende : « L'auteur présumé, lors de la rentrée de septembre ».
Et l'on voit une femme, en train de retirer le manteau d'une petite fille à l'intérieur de la cour d'une école (semble-t'il).
Les visages des enfants se trouvant à proximité, ainsi que de 2 autres adultes ont été brouillés afin qu'on ne les reconnaisse pas.
Je me pose la question de la déontologie. Le journal avait-il le droit de publié cette photo ?
Il est bien écrit : "l'auteur présumé", présumé, ça veut dire qu'on est même pas sûr !
Et puis, dans l'intérieur de l'article on y apprend que la personne est à l'hôpital psychiatrique de Saint-Étienne du Rouvray. Donc, il n'est pas sûr, dans le cas où c'est elle qui a pendu ses enfants, qu'elle soit considérée comme responsable de ses actes, ça, c'est la justice qui le décidera, pas les journaux.
Le fait de jeter en pâture une femme, avec sa photo, et à l'intérieur du journal, son nom et son prénom, fait-il partie du métier de journaliste ?
Il est vrai que le propriétaire du journal est André Bettencourt, a appris le métier de journaliste chez « Française de Terre », une revue qui a paru en des temps troublés...
Bien sûr, il ne s'agit de minimiser l'acte en question, qui est un acte barbare en soi (pendre des enfants de 4 ans et demi).
Mais le procédé journalistique est quand même des plus déplorables !
